What to do if iOS user receives “Bad Request” after login

If you are shown a page within the app containing “Bad Request” at the top of the page, after going through the NIDirect login process, then please close the page and re-try login process again by clicking on the Login Button within the app.

Note: Two possible points where you may be asked to login:

  1. Login when setting up the app.
  2. If your login has expired. Then there is a yellow banner at the top of the My Certificates page.

If after two attempts the you are still shown the “Bad Request” message then uninstall and re-install the app.

Note: Uninstalling the app will result in any previously activated domestic certificate being “Locked” and you will need to go through the re-take selfie process and wait 24 hours for the domestic certificate to be activated.
